Unhappy 2000 gts bogging down

When I start up my GTS after sitting for more than a few hours it bogs down when I put it into first gear. It jolts along for a few minutes and then when I put it into second gear it is fine and I don't have the problem again until it sits for a couple of more hours. No one can figure out what is worng. HELP!

Does it have a cold-start injector? If it does, that may be the problem.

my 2000 gts was having a bogging problem and the scanner said lean on bank 1, everywhere i took the car they said upstream oxygen sensorwas bad causing the car to run lean on the bottom end. it ended up being the mass air flow sensor. 170 bucks from toy...dont use an aftermarket...expensive mistake!

just an fyi
i put a K&N filter in it and when i pulled the mass air flow sensor out it had oil and fibers on the sensor wires which i'm pretty sure were from the K&N. when you reoil one make sure to lay it on a towel for a couple hours in the sun or under heat to get rid of the excess oil.

Alternatively, use a TRD air filter.

Re: 2000 gts bogging down

Anyone got any pics of the location of the oxygen sensors on the 2000 GTS?
