Help!!!!!
I have a 1966 ford galaxie, v-8, 390 motor under the hood. The dilema that I have run into is a decision to keep the original as possible. With the drum braking system I've been told that to make the car a safer driving machine, change over to power braking, disc brakes and rotors etc.... The problem is the conversion kits price raging $ from 800-1200 dollars with everything included meaning rotors, calipers, pads, hoses, bearings. and master cylinder + booster. Please tell me there is a cheaper way to go and achieve the same goal.????????

Re: Help!!!!!
Does the Galaxy use the same front end as the Mustang/Falcon? If so, you can get the front spindles from a 75-80 Ford Granada and swap them in.
