all b series fit into the 4th gen with the exception of the b20a that came in the 88-91 preludes or whatever motors came in that. but you need a few things to swap that b series motor into you crx, so search and youll find what you need

Dont get a b20a its one of the worst honda motors ever made.Cant rev it that high safely.Does make huge torque with that 95mm stroke. Its nice in traffic but sucks on the freeway.Ive owned almost every honda motor made.Doing a b20a would be the same as any b series motor swap with the exception of the ecu pinout and cable tranny. So I say go with the b16a.

you can get whatever b series you like. b16a, b17a, b18a,b,c, b20bz

it all depends on you, like what are you going to use the car for, like drag racing, or for just daily driving

are you going all motor or turbo how fast do you want to go ?

these questions matter because say you only want a 14sec drag racing car, then i would suggest a b16. but if you want a 10sec drag car, i would suggest getting a b18c because it has more displacement so therefore you would get more hp. same if you going all motor.

i would say b18c1, gsr motor. bore it to 83mm, stroke it with 89mm (ls) crank, and just build the rest of the motor accordingly.

if you want a good turbo kit, check out www.full-race.com they have turbo kits and can meet your needs

there is a b18c, 2 liter motor over here runnin 22psi, and went 10.7, but hes turning up the boost so he can run more consistent 10s
