Fast or Slow.. I dont know!

Hey, the past weeks I have pretty much set my mind on getting an eclipse but what I can't decide is to build it up to be a mean-high 11 second car or leave it stock. At this point I'm am not considering doing something in the middle(slightly modded) & I find myself choosing a fast car but then the next second choosing the stock car...., the things I am worried about is that a fast car would really put a hole in my wallet for gas & the work but the stock car is well.. stock. I know it seems wierd but if you had the money would you go out for the fast car?

Re: Fast or Slow.. I dont know!

Most people decide if they want their car faster or not, then continue modding (they can't stop) until they are satisfied if ever. Making a decision without knowing exactly what you are getting into is going to be hard. My advice would be to 'plan on keeping it stock' then mod as you feel necessary. If you were going to build a fast car, it might not be that great of a daily driver when it breaks. If you don't drive it hard enough to break... maybe you didn't want that fast of a car in the first place. It's a tough decision.

Re: Fast or Slow.. I dont know!

Hmm, depends if you want a fast car or not ? Well, if I owned an Eclipse, then I'd put modifications on it, its not like I'm really gonna race outside on the streets, I'd just turn the Eclipse into a show car, bring it to Hot Import Night and shit you know, haha so yeah I think you should put modifications on that shit and Monitors ( PS2 ) Inside ! I got it on my Supra, and NOS ;-)

Re: Fast or Slow.. I dont know!

If you're already worried about money forget it, mods are out of the question, between the cost of mods and the potential repairs you'll go broke in no time if you don't have a reasonably fat wallet and can't do the work on the car yourself.

If ya wanna play ya gotta pay.
