OH Console installation in non-dodge

Have a problem- looking for a solution!
I'm trying to install an overhead console from a 2000 Jeep Cherokee in my RV- which is a built on a chevy truck chassis. Found the console on ebay, only $25... just provides compass/temperature display; got the temp probe included.

Now the problem...
The compass is self-contained in the console circuitry, or "Evic". But the temp sensor connects to another unit called a PCI bus, which receives data from many vehicle sensors (depending on the console's options) and can then feed it all to the Evic via ONE wire. Thus, the signal from the sensors is read and converted to the display instruction by the PCI, not the Evic. So, the compass works- the temp doesn't.

Solution?
Considering a way to process and drive the temp sensor data- possibly installing the "PCI bus" on the vehicle for the sole purpose of driving the temp display. However- can't find any info on obtaining one, cost, or if it could be done. Possibly this is part of the main computer or body control module? Open to alternative ideas too, of course. Anyone have a suggestion or knowledge to share on this?

Thanks!!
