clear coat combo????
any one know if i can mix blender and flex additive in with clear coat or is there a better way to "spot paint" the bumpers and side molding of my 95 grand prix, they have a lot of plastic and i know ill need to use flex with the clear. but it would be hard to get it to blend with the old paint, unless i can mix both in with clear coat any one thing this is a bad idea or why it wouldnt work? i dont want to paint the whole car.

Re: clear coat combo????
If the color matches but doesnt look the same to the rest of the car it is because the paint is fresh and new and the old paint is showing its age. After 30 days from painting the trim and bumpers , power polish the rest of the paint(old paint) and it will match much better.

so i can mix the 2 in with the clear? the blender and the flex additive? my cars never dirty and always waxed so i shouldnt have too much of a difference but thanx on the time i figured maybe after a month i could power polish it, i also wash and wax cars, trucks, semis and farm equipment for extra cash in the summer so im familiar with most of this stuff.
thanx |
