91 civic DX electrical problem
i got a 91 honda civic DX... 4 door. I had the fuse box out the other day to look at what it would take to wire my interior neon lights right into the box (there are two blank spots). but i didnt do anything to the fuse box itself, i just looked at it.
when i put it back in, my entire dashboard is now out. i've got no speedometer, no lights (except the 'check engine' light). i've got no signals, no odometer, nothing. when i turn the signals on, nothing happens. when i turn on the lights, the temperature guage goes up. when i turn on the hazard lights, my speakers click. the climate control works, but my cigarette lighter doesnt, nor does my car stereo. wtf? i'm so lost, becuase i didnt do anything at all. i've checked, and rechecked the wires, everything is in the right place (the only place it fits), but still no luck. anyone have any ideas for me? i was thinking a fuse, but i cant seem to find any one fuse that governs the entire dash... help! |

Re: 91 civic DX electrical problem
are any fuses blown? in the box or under the hood? It sounds like you put it back in wrong.
