Power window and vent problems

I have a 92 sonoma 4.3L, my passenger side window will go down but not back up. I replaced the motor and switch and it still doesn't work what else could be the problem? Also my vents do not work right, when I select defrost the air just stays on the floor no matter what opption I select. I replaced the switch to that and still nothing, then I check my vaccum hoses and they seem fine. some one please give me some advise I know there not huge problems but they are frustrating. Thanks

Window Problems

The problem with your window is the window regulator. That is the scissors like looking mechanical thing that rises with the window attached to it. On a 1995, this regulator is riveted into the door. So if yours is the same you will have to drill those rivets out and replace the regulator either with new rivets or low profile nuts and threaded studs.

On my vehicle one or two of the rivets had failed and pulled through, so I reattached them with the nut and thread application, and all works fine. Under this option make sure you use thread locker, so they don't come loose over time. A new regulator is about $179 on parts.com so hopefully it is jus the rivet failure problem.
