Noise when opening/closing passenger side door.

Hey, i have a 95 accord lx coupe. when i open the passenger side door, i get a noise when i open and close it. Its not a squeeking noise or anything like that. It sounds like the air compressor or watever it is inside the door. When i open and close it, i feel a lil resistance and it doesnt open with ease like the driver side door. Does anyone know whats wrong with it?

i have the same exact problem on my 96 accord lx, and i havent had anyone able to tell me what the problem is...
