Difference's btwn. 4th generation models (GXE, GLE, SE)

Hi everyone,
Basically, after my purchase of a 3rd generation maxima fell through, I'm now looking for a nice 4th generation. I know that the GLE is basically the luxury model: leather, automatic climate, auto tranny, alloys, etc; but I'm curious as to the difference between a manual trans. GXE vs. a manual trans. SE. My main concern is the difference in the engine and suspension. Is the GXE powered by the same DOHC 3.0 (190hp/205tq) that propels the SE from 0-60 in 6.6 seconds? Does the GXE have the limited slip differential that the SE has? What, if any, are the differences between the suspensions on the GXE vs. the SE? Please respond.
Louis

Re: Difference's btwn. 4th generation models (GXE, GLE, SE)

gxe's come with higher speed rated tires and wider rims stock. the tires are good for up to 140 mph on the SE. due to this the gxe models are limited at 127 mph by a governor but the SE isn't governed at all. i don't think you can get a lsd on any 4th gen other than a 99 GLE,SE or SE-L, i may be wrong though. the only advantage the GXE may have is weight, but that's dependant on which options you go with. i had a 95 SE with leather, power seat(1), 5 speed, and bose and the registration had it listed at 2895 lbs.
