horsepower (I want more!)

I want to increase the hp in my 94 ex. I have already put in a cold air intake by K+N and an OBX catback exhaust. Headers are my next upgrade. Anything else besides turbo?

Re: horsepower (I want more!)

I heard pullys can mess up your engine pretty bad. Is this true?

Re: horsepower (I want more!)

just buy a name brand pulley set. Alternater pulleys are rumored to undercharge the system but i dont kno for a fact since i dont have any pulleys. If u want more power... rip out the car and put in a test pipe in its place. Then get a header... not OBX or Pacesetter cuz i heard they are crap... try something like DC or Airmass i heard works good. Neuspeed one if u can. Light weight flywheel will give more power and also improve throttle repsonse a lil bit. or if u want something real big and noticeable turbo ur motor or just swap it out for an h22 as what everyone would say. They got cams and pistons for ur car u so could also do that. But yea there are many other things that u could do to get more power. Just need the money, time, and proper tuning. That is just some things i listed to give u an idea.

Re: horsepower (I want more!)

I'm hestitant to buy any underdrive pulleys, they remove your harmonic balancer, which has the potential to be dangerous to your engine. Some have used pulleys for years and say it is fine, others wont touch them. So at least do some more research and formulate your own opinion on the debate before just buying them. Just my .02

Re: horsepower (I want more!)

nitrous. umm, high compression pistons, engine swap and forementioned ideas.....?

How much money do you have is the question. Don't mess with 1-3 hp gains (ground wires). Get real mods first...then worry about the little stuff....that's my advice
