In progress: Check shop Lexus

Here is one that I am working on. The new Aoshima Lexus Check shop GS400 (Aristo). It is a real basic kit. There is no body kit for it. The only thing is the new wheels. They are 19". Not sure what the name of the wheels are. I figure this one should be pretty quick, since there is not much to detail. I really like the adjustable suspension, the only drawback is that there is no brake detail. I decided to do something about that. What I did was use the rotors from another Aoshima kit. Since the backs are flat, they were the perfect donors. All I did was use a dremel, and flatten out the back side of the rotor, couple of seconds for each rotor. Then I painted it then glued them on. They fit perfect. The kit also comes with some Louis Vuitton decals that are a pain to put on. I just wish there were a bit bigger, so could have done the outside too. Just like the NSX in Ludacris's video. The body has been painted and polished out already. Just have to do the window trims and lights. On to the pics.

New wheels, and the modded rotors.

Side shot.

Interior shot.

Another.

Nice! Love the seats, although I think it's pointless to put that stuff in an NSX, it looks great in that aristo! Nice job!

They came with the kit. Although, they didn't say. I guess cause of the licensing issue. They don't even tell you how to use them on the instruction sheet either. Here is a pic of the box.

Not sure if they used it on the interior. But they used it on the paint. It is actually a LV look alike. Here is a pic.
