FX4 Kicks all 4x4 butts , even the beloved army hummers not sure about land rovers?

The Ford Ranger FX4 Level 2 killed the millitary Hummer in off road maneuvers and is still affordable (although extremely small) does any one disagree on the off road capabilities? From what Ive expirienced from driving them is they're alot of fun and take a decent pounding without complaining.

I was impressed , how bout you?

Love the looks, however, I have not had the privelege of driving one(I'm stuck with my worn but true '92) What does the FX4 all include that differs from the regular 4X4? Just wondering.

yeah, i don't own onw either... I wish.... but the fx4 lvl 2 has some extra goodies like
-Torsen locked 8.8 inch rear
-31" (?) BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA KO tires
-Beefed up drive train
-high output 4.0 v6
-Rancho shocks (I think RS 5000)
-I think 16" rims
-lots of developement on suspension and articulation

To finish where you left off, My 02 Ranger FX4 came with mentioned above but the rims are 15" Alco Rims, the shocks are actually Bilsteins, the F-150 FX4's have the Ranchero, and if you get and FX4, get the five speed, I love it with the transfer case on the floor instead of the switch and the leather and chrome shifter is what made me buy the truck in the first place. I haven't taken mine in the wood's yet cause it is my baby but it spins em pretty damn good. Too bad Ford stopped making the FX4 Ranger's, I think it is the greatest factory ranger yet.
