STB and Aurora/STS similarities

Is there anyway that the STS strut tower bar could bolt up to the Aurora (classic and/or 2nd gen)

It would be really nice to have one

RSM has the strut tower brace for the 1996 Aurora. It's $299.99.

Re: STB and Aurora/STS similarities

i think the only way to know is for someone to bite the bullet and just order it, 25 isn't a big loss if it doesn't work, im just a little broke right now for that kind of stuff

I'd be interested in the GMPD option if it works.
I just ordered a similar product for my Corvette...

Re: STB and Aurora/STS similarities

I contacted my local Chev/Olds dealer and apparently according to the Partsman, there was no STB offered on the STS. I'm starting to believe that the STS has the same strut tower support as the second gen Aurora. Its mounted above the firewall, underneath the window wipers and behind the hood cowl.

Anyhow, I suppose there is an OE STB offered by GMPD (as I posted) however once I heard conflicting information from the dealership...I was puzzled as to my next move.

I drove my previous car (89 Bonneville SE) with a 92-99 STB mounted to it and man did it handle SO much better at the front end...makes me frustrated when I drive the Aurora.
