Re: 93 continental breakdown
Welcome Cbama..
Many, many, many ( did I mention many ) of these type of problems trace back to a BAD battery and/or connections to the battery. The "charge system" warning refers to the battery or alternator (battery charger). There's many other components of the system but those two are the main ones. Everyone experiencing electrical anomalies needs to have their battery, and charging system verified to be 100% working order before moving onto other component testing, period. Testing will be done for FREE at just about every place that sells battery's. In your case Cbama, if your battery is over three years old it's nearing the end of it's reliable life anyway and should be replaced to be 100% dependable. NO I don't want to hear from you guys that have 10 year old batteries, I've seen them die in 24 months too with perfect charging systems. If your problem persists beyond the scope of my comments please reply with further symptoms.
