Brake light switch keeps getting jammed

I have to replace the brake light switch about once a month because it keeps getting jammed. It is a cheap little part but does anybody know a trick to keep the plastic button from getting stuck? Or maybe a better qaulity part that would work in a 91 corolla sedan.

Re: Brake light switch keeps getting jammed

when you fit the switch, make sure that the button still has a tiny bit of movement between the brake pedal, and the brake lights opperate normally.fitting the switch to far in will cause your trouble.
