i wish people would quit asking "what would i run with these mods" cuz it's impossible to predict.

you'd be faster if you had 10psi of boost instead of 2 psi of boost.

you'd be really fuckin slow if you dont know how to shift.

blah blah blah... get the picture?

All the mods in the world won't matter if you cannot take advantage of it...in other words, driving ability. I've had my share of races where the other driver should have beaten me in a better car, but didn't because they didn't know how to drive.

yeah, ive seen people with a shit load of mods only run low 15's, and people with stock run high 14's...get the mods and buy a g-tech if there is no track around you..

as far as guessing your time, you can do that better than anyone else here...

Practice on your launches. The first 60ft on a drag strip (or on the street for that matter) is critical to the rest of your run. Go out to an industrial park, or some desolate part of road, and keep at it. If you get a G-tech, keep in mind it measures your run right at a launch...on the track, it measures after you cross the "timing tree".

To even come close in guessing, we'd have to have a lot more information. Particularly about the turbo kit - which turbo and wastegate and what pressure? What tires?

A decent street turbo kit might get you around 220hp to the wheels giving you somthing like 14.2 @ 96MPH. Without some bottom end-work I really can't see you safely pushing more than 300hp at the wheels, giving you about 13 flat @ 106 MPH - if you could get all that power to the ground (suspension & tires).

Ideally, you need to work backwards - how fast do you want to run? How much hp will that take? (http://www.prestage.com/carmath/calc_etmph.asp - hp estimates are on the high side) Now, what do you need modify to get there?

Going fast is not the result of a bunch of bolt-ons. Going fast is the result of very careful planning such that every component of the car is perfectly matched.

Well

Once again drift has been an A hole. Dont reply if you dont like it tosser.

With 6psi and a full body kit of weight, wheels etc, I know of a guy with a Gen 5 turboed with a garret T25 and cooler. Running 14.4 quarters Thats about it plain and simple.:flash:

no, just realistic.

your example is pretty useless as there's no tyre/traction info, atmospheric pressure, temp of the day, etc.

you cant give a static answer to an abstract question, cuz even examples arent a true representaion of his vehicle.
