Hello I have a 1994 VW GOLFIII and I bought a remote control wich cost me 35.00 bucks i an dealer.
but needs to be reprogrammed does someone knows? how to do it dealer want's to charge $75.00 rip off |

I've seen instructions on it, but despite trying it myself with numerous battery configurations, when I got to the step when I was to hit the remote buttons, nothing ever happened
![]() They charge $75.00?! damn, guess I'll never have keyless again. FYI, you need a second key - one in the ignition (turn part way but don't turn car on), then put one in the door and turn to the right and hold for a few seconds ... the car should beep a few times, then you're supposed to hit a button on the remote, then turn the key to the right until it beeps again, and the remote should work ... but like i said, didn't work for me |

thanks guys until this day i dont have the remote working was a waist off money i think its a little too much to pay,,, dealer should inform people that they need to reprogrammed the remote before selling it...
