electrical problem

ok now, i was rehooking up my volts gauge right... we i accidently sparked the + a few times..... well now nothin works..... i just had time to check the fuses b4 it started pouring.... i just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and what it turned out to be.. cause i dont feel like checking every god darn thing.... thanks....

my friend did that on his galant. it was actually a fuse but the fuse wasnt located in the fuse block. (we had to take it in to find out what the prob was) but thats what the guy told us.

and when i mean nothing works... when i go to start it, it does nothin, the headlights or nothing works, but i still have spark at the + going to the gauge

it has to be a fuse. or maybe several. i wired up a
stereo in my brothers trans am and i accidently touched th pos wire to the shifter and it sparked
it blowed the ignition fuse, stereo, lights. do you have one of those testers that checks for bad fuses?

no i dont have one of those... but everything went out, so i figured theres got to be a main fuse somewhere, one was blown but thats been blown, it was for the brake lights, but man its pooring like a bitch here man and the wind is howling like a dman hurricane

10-4 good buddy, does you r car have any of those
silver breakers in the fuse box? one of mine blew and the guages went dead once, power windows
or nothin would work.

there could be you problem. i think if you take a volt meter you can test them out.

or i can just go switch them out of then other bronco and see if that fixes it.. lol...the circular one is for the blinker and the rectangle one is for the windsheild winpers and washers so i dont know........

well actually the sending unit for the water temp gauge touched it the 1st time.... i guess i am gonna have to trace the wires...
