http:///?%20www.........?

Well I'm having this problem again. I type in a website, i.e. www.ifcustom.com and in return get http:///?%20www.ifcustom.com. Can anyone explain this to me or have a fix. I've ran Adaware thinking that may help, but nothing. I did a search in google and found a supposed patch called IEFIX.reg that's suppose to fix the problem. Has anyone heard of this b/c I'm kind of leary of installing it. Thanks.

hmm, ive never heard of that before. I'd look around on either the McAffee or Norton websites to see what you can dig up about it before i start playing with .reg files

Re: http:///?%20www.........?

Search for the website on google. Are you sure you spelled it correctly? The %20 indicates a space, did you actually hit space bar before the www. section of the url?

I think I may have found the virus. The virus is called HTML_REDIR.A. I've searched google and can't find a patch of any kind. If someone can help lead me to a place I can, I would appeciate at it.
