How do I remove the parking lamps located next to the headlights on my 93 J30?

Remove the phillips head screw on the top {open hood}/wiggle and pull straight forward/{there is a plastic ball and socket retainer behind the lamp assy.}While you pull straight ahead,carefully wiggle the assembly and it will pop out of the retainer.
