Re: interior painting

Krylon Fusion is good. Just make sure you clean it really well, then spray at least 7 or 8 coats.

Re: interior painting

go to your local paint store and they should have a paint i believe its called dura coat, it works amazing, isnt glossy and its really stong, but still clean it very well with final wash or even a very light coat of laquer thinner but other then that its awesome

Re: interior painting

hey man i was told to apply stuff that makes paint stick to plastic; without it the paint job wont look good or wont stick... autozone sells stuff called BondAid.. then u can go out and buy whatever spray paint u wanted.. dont paint vinyl unless u buy vinyl dye also

Re: interior painting

paint would look better. I wouldnt even bother using anything to make the paint stick better. I used krylon fusion and havent had any problems. Just make sure you use a good clear coat. You really should only need about 3 or 4 coats of paint and clear coat. Also use vinal paint or dye on the dash and anything wraped in vinal. If you dont the paint will never dry

Re: interior painting

I painted the interior of my cavy when I had the kit painted. It took a lot of prep work but looks hot it's the same as the ext. and most of all easy to clean, plus u can put a coat of wax on it and get a nice shine. About as close to show quality as im going to get. You can check out my car at http://www.twistedperfektionz.com/members/eric/

Re: Re: interior painting

i painted mine with regular paint.... its the clear coat you put over is the killer, and be pateint. after u take out your dash and all the parts, you need to give about 3 coats of paint and 2 clear coats. it should take about a week i'd say. i have pictures of my painted interior on car domain. click the link in my signature.
