Air Conditioner Low Side pressure 95psi!
I recently bought a recharge kit for my 1995 blazer ls... before i tried to charge up the system, I went to do a pressure test i was expecting it to have below 20 psi from the low side port. but instead it was 95 psi. when i turn on my ac the compressor does not kick in either. i know i'm hooking up the testing gauge to the low side port. i am guessing this problem is out of my hands and i'll need to take it in to service... anybody else have this problem?
it's a 4x4 with a 4.3L (w) engine with 156,000 miles on it. Last edited by brad2886; 06-22-2004 at 06:28 PM. |

Well I fixed the problem... i cleaned the connection from the accumulator(sp) to the compressor i think it is... and now the compressor engages and i now have 40 degree air coming out of my vents!
