Hello Board

I test drove a Jeep Lib last night (sport). I have to admit that is is very different from driving a minivan. It felt like a solid ride and the truning was nice. I now notice that I will be loosing some "space" in the back seat area. My question is this: I shut off the ac and I have noticed some noise which seem to be comming from the front defrost vent, is that normal? I dont know if this is the road noise or what. Also for all who own the JL, on a scale from 1-10, what is your satisfaction rate.

We own a Liberty Renegade. We like it and would give it an 8 out of 10. No maintenance problems but it does lack storage, we had a minivan before trading. We like the ruggedness of the Jeep and the way it handles especially in the snow. Don't like the placement of the window controls on the consol though. Haven't noticed any noise from the defrost vent but the tires, 16 inch duelers, do make some road noise. Otherwise, we have no real complaints about the vehicle.

I own a 2002 liberty sport. I have not had any major problems, but I have had two problems. The first one was that the battery died last year. The second one was that the light were flickering inside, the switch was replace and I have not had any problems since. I keep up with the maintanance. I dont have any noise coming from any vent. the only noise I have is road noise/wind noise; if anything, that will be my major complaint. I drive my car a lot. Right now is going on 42,000 miles and no major problems found.
