Fuel Gauge and Running Problems

I have an 88 2.0 with carb. is there any way i can get my fuel gauge to work again? and I just got it running again and it runs then it starts to shake and acts like its going to die then it revs back up then shakes and acts like its going to die. Does anybody know whats going on?

Re: Fuel Gauge and Running Problems

is your check engine light working and on? most auto parts stores have code scanners and will scan for free.then you can post the code here and it will be easier to tell you what your prob is

Re: Fuel Gauge and Running Problems

Yes and no. It ran when i picked it up then it sat for awhile with no gas. Then i put new gas in and it and it didnt run. I broke the line before the filter and checked my pump and it worked then i reconnected the line and it ran again.
