95 avenger engines
Hey all, I am looking into what kind of engines can fit into this car. I have heard from one source that there aren't many hardware swaps that can be done to this car. I know that Chrysler and Mitsubishi were alligned in that Mitsubishi pretty much had their vehicles in N. America through Chrysler.

I noticed that the Avenger has a Neon engine in it. Would it be possible to put an SRT-4 engine the Avenger?
Anyone know the engine models & if the mounting brackets would match? R

The simplest thing would be to put the 420A engine, with the 5 speed. The 420A is in Avengers, Sebrings, a few neons, eclipse gs/rs's. It has huge potential, they make alot of turbo kits, and ive seen one supercharger for it. Hope this helps ya
