3000GT vs. RX-7

if these two went stock for stock, who do u think would take the cake, i heard taht the 3000 has bigger turbos, but the weight difference would give the advantage to the RX-7

Re: 3000GT vs. RX-7

230HP vs 320

2700lbs vs 3800lbs

AWD vs RWD

VR4 wins hands down

yeah most people with sport cars dont leave thier cars stock unless they have a supercar. So really stock for stock doesnt really matter just my 2 cents.

he should say that, but damn a na engine with 285 hp doing 0-60 in 5.4 thats pretty damn good, if it were turboed a 350z would probably walk all over u......give it time and the 350z's will become beast....parts just have to become mainstream. To bad mitsu isnt trying to recreate the 3kgt, it was such a nice car.

Re: 3000GT vs. RX-7

we don't weant them to come out again and our cars are not hard to modify, if you ask me to drop them into the 11's is as simple as dropping a supra in the 11's. both need turbo upgrade's and fuel and intercool and bpu's and walla

Re: 3000GT vs. RX-7

a 350z does not do 0-60 in 5.4 secs. I just cant see the Z doin that the 300ZX TT barely did that and it weighs about the same and has more horsepower.

Re: 3000GT vs. RX-7

Gearing...torque...weight/hp is not the final word. There are 20 different things that make a race, weight and hp being 2 of them.
PS. rx8s are pathetic, I destroyed 2 last weekend.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
