Angry please help with a rim/tire question...

I bought some lexus original manufacturers 18" diameter, 7.5 width, 45 mm offset rims.... my understanding is that a 225/40/18 tire is the widest tire that will fit??? I was hoping for a 245/40/18 but im not sure it will work/fit
someone please!!! help me !!!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR A REPLY/FEEDBACK ON THIS FORUM!!!
