Cool avid vs. hasport

I'm planning a b18c5 swap into my 89 crx. Just curious if anyone knows if there is a good reason to go with hasport over avid racing for various things such as motor mounts, axles, shift linkage, wiring harness, etc.? I know that Avid is less expensive which means they may not be as good of quality. Thanks for any help.

HASPORT

Why you ask?

Simply because i don't know a single person who uses Avid mounts. And more than half the people I ask if they've ever considered going the Avid route, have never even heard of Avid.

Just my opinion though

Re: avid vs. hasport

The only Avid mounts I've ever seen used were in a 91 civic for a b16 swap. And the mount broke and the drivers side of the engine fell down while my buddy was driving it. But that's just one instance of that happening that I've ever heard or seen; and no one knew the person who did the swap so it could have been put it wrong or not tightened or tightened too much. But even with that being said there's no reason to not get the shiftlinkage, axles, or wiring harness if they're less expensive than hasport.

I was just asking cuz while pricing stuff I found Avid on eBay and had never heard of it so I wanted to find out if anyone knew anything about it. Thanks for all the replies everyone, I think Hasport won hands down!
