test drove some cars today

well today me and my friend got bored and he wants to get a new car so we went to go look at some since he's got like 30 grand or some shit to spend so we went to some dealerships and both got to drive the cars so first we drove a 2002 mustang gt anyways the clutch on that car suched and i beat the shit out of it and the guy got mad at me since i slamed it into 2nd and took off lol anyways i didn't like that car at all neither did he, so next we test drove an audi tt quattro well i must say when you put that car into S mode (s for well sport) (and yes we had to try auto b/c they had no stick) that car whips like a mofo so we got to unleash it on the highway and my friend almost ran into the barrier haha so we got it up to about 80ish since he told us to push it and the all wheel drive really rocks toop bad it was a 45000 car so that was just for a joy ride, and lastly we test drove a brand new pontiac GTO and holy shit that car is soooo comfertable (yes its spelled wrong) and it whips like you would never believe stock it runs 13.8 seconds or some shit in the 1/4 mile well he fell in love with that car and wehn i was driving it i was having fun like letting the clutch out all slow when changing gears then nailing the gas and getting pushed back in my seat hehe

$30k huh... go test drive a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, SERIOUSLY. That's a 13 second car stock. Go check one of those out.

Re: test drove some cars today

I wish I could get a GTO...old or new. With 30K he could get a Cobra, which is much better than the Mustang GT...but i'd still take the GTO over a Cobra.

Re: test drove some cars today

maybe he would like to buy my 99 z28 for 11.5k and put almost 20k into it like a lingenfelter engine ( i believe the ls1 lingenfelter engine is like 7k) and also a s/c and t/c and some small stuff and that will blow away alot of the cars...

Re: test drove some cars today

The GTO is decent too, id be a little worried about buying a 1st year production car. Plus I think they might change it soon because I do believe a good part of it has to be shipped from austrailia.

It does however have the ALMIGHTY 9 bolt rear end in the back so thats a plus in my books.
