Basically it's the part of the intercooler tubing that has the the blow off valve on it.

I'm not sure, but but hot pipes are like a short cut, it's the pipe that crosses over the top of the engine that you see sometimes.

Re: Hot pipes?

Ohhhh....is it the pipe that runs the blow off air back in to the intake system? If 240's are like eclipse's then not running the blowed off air back in to the intake system will make the engine run rich becuase its already been accounted for so the ECU see more air so to sends more fuel but the air is then blowin off. Is that the way 240's are with the SR20DET in it?

Re: Hot pipes?

There is a BOV that vents to the atmosphere and back into the intake but I don't know how well it works. Anyone?

Hot pipes are what connects the Turbo to the Intercooler.(before cooling = hot air) they arent included because many people have different turbos and want Different BOVs

Recirc blow off valves are better than VTA because they wont cause stumbling from being overly rich due to all af the air being lost after the MAF

Re: Hot pipes?

So today I heard that a SAFC will fix the stumbling problem. Anyone?
