Antenna Problems

My antenna goes up whenever I have the radio or even a tape or CD in the player. Is there any way I can stop the antenna from going up when I play a tape or cd? Does anyone know how much sport antennas cost?

no, there is no way to stop it, it goes up when the deck is turned on. As far as sport antennas go, I recently ordered a s2k look alike off ebay thats made to fit in a teg antenna hole. It's kind of a pain to put in but it works great and looks pretty sharp. I think it was like 30ish w/shipping.

My Antenna wont go down all the way it sticks up to about six inchs when the car is off. Is there anyway to fix it without buying a new one.
