O2 sensor

i bought a 1993 astro van with 100,000 miles on it. I changed the o2 sensor and 2 days later it started acting funny like the o2 sensor was bad so i put the old one back in and it ran fine. is it possible it went bad in 2 days or is a o2 sensor very specific for each vehicle and they gave me the wrong one?

Re: O2 sensor

the O2 sensors are made special for each vehical,
there is no one type to fit all, but there are sensors that are trash right out of the box, it is best to but a better grade one if possible
