sport mode on manual?

I am new with mitsubishi's so please someone tell me if there is a sport mode on manual 3000gt's and or if t is in sport mode all the time. Thanks.

depending on the year, there is a ESC button, which is electronic suspension controll. If you listen really carfully on your second gen( like my 95 VR-4) at idle when you press the button, you can actually hear the electronic coil overs in the front tighten up. Its pretty cool, But im pretty sure only the VR-4's came with this option. Its nice, its makes the road more noticeable and rough riding like a real sports car and I think traction and turning increases slightly as well.

ECS are on VR-4 and SL models, when your on sport mode, it stiffens up the struts so there will be less body roll

I think 95 was the last year that was a feature on 3000gts, as it isn't on my 96.

yea, maybe they made it up to a certain year, but i can definitely tell you that all 92-94 SL and VR-4 models have it

91 SL's have it too..except i think mine is broken lol..cuz if i push the button the light saying tour or sport doesnt go on and i cant really feel any difference when i hit it
