99 Tahoe outside door handle

The driver's side outside door handle on my 99 Tahoe has cracked and I need to replace it. I am not the most mechanically inclined so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get the door apart to replace it. I ordered a replacement handle off of Ebay, it says it is reinforced to prevent the cracking that is common to the handles. Hopefully I can do it without to much hassle.

LOL, Just did this exact same thing on my 99 yesterday, and I can tell you, your gonna want some help with it, you have to pull of the interior door panel to get access to the bolt inside the door, that holds one side of the handle in place, the other bolt is at the end of the door (like where the little stickers are) only up top. The rest is just clips that hold the rods in that actuate the handle inside the door, and getting the lock out is easy it has a little release on the bottom of it, once you get the two bolts out, you will be able to pull the handle out enough to see it.

Good luck with this project,
ps..got mine off ebay as well.

Almost forgot, make sure your window is all the way up as well.

Also the door panel just "pops" off with those push in clips, and the trim around the interior door handle comes off with little clips as well, I broke mine trying to figure that one out, lol. Take out the two screws in the arm rest that you can see looking down into it.
