? On welding shock mounts

Looking it over, it would seem to do a little bit at a time-let the mount cool down-start again....

Is it OK to help it cool off with a wet rag, or just on it's own?

My buddy's just started welding MIG/Flux core...just dont want to FUBAR the D44....

TIA, Tom
