Re: Nos?

absolutely nothing like forced induction.

NOS is either a liquid or a gas that burns super cool and creates huge power gains in your car. It is not exactly the most reliable thing. Dont think that you can ride around all day hitting the NOS button and your car live to see another day...especially on a stock vehicle.

Re: Nos?

wtf, its not like FI?, it is exactly forced induction jsut chemically. If your looking for great info check http://www.zex.com/Technical/Help/NitrousOxide.asp as for the time it last i think on the site it says using a 55 shot you get 3 min of spray which is actually a lot longer then u think if you dont use it all the time. if you use occasionally youd prolly be filling once a month or even less. If you want to know anything else talk to me on AIM my sn is dayvidgallagher

Re: Nos?

So he calls it NOS in his first post, so what. ITR says the same thing and hes a creditable guy, plus he later calls it n2o as well some its not like hes uneducated just lazy. I think its stupid the people who hate nitrous when really it can be reliable if you use it responsibly

Re: Nos?

alot of people hate it becasue they think it blows up motors. Which is bull. It isn't the N2O that blew up the motor, it is the moron who ran to big a shot for his stock internals to handle, or just used it way to much! N2O is like any mod, if done right, and not abused it can be plenty reliable, and you won't have to wory about screwing things up. I would say look into the zex kit, it is pretty fool proof. Pobably one of the safest kits out there. I would suggest a 55 shot or so, you could go bigger, but a 55 shot would be pretty safe as long as you arn't spraying constantly! good luck

Re: Nos?

If you do not know how to use it, install it, know a difference between wet and dry, maintain a car using it. the dont get a kit. Learn all you can about it first.

i was thinkin that i would want either a DRY or WET kit on my car and have been looking into it...i have a built engine with turbo right now...(not installed yet...fuckers) and well if i go up against someone in a race and money is on the line i want to make sure i win...and say if i arm the nitrous and not spray because i realized i was much faster than the other guy and i didnt even need it to win...would i be able to just turn it off or would i have to turn it off and purge out the lines?
