New- Completely custom CAI

Well, earlier this evening I went over to my buddies house for a cold air intake, and some throttle cable adjustment. It took over four hours before he finished, but the final product is sweet.

He used 3" diameter exhaust pipe to fabricate and weld the intake. I used the stock hose thing from the manifold, but where it originally went into the box with the filter, we clamped on a bypass valve. After the bypass valve, he fabricated a length of pipe to go down into the hole where originally the sound dampener thing went. My air filter is actually set in my bumper next to the windshield washer fluid reservior.

As far as effects go, it sounds really good. Very loud. Acceleration is a bit faster, but it is noticable.

I will have pics at some point tommorrow.
