question about the rotary engine

i had an arguement with my friend he said he wouldn't want an rx of any kind because the rotary engine sounds like shit, i got pisssed because first i luv rotary's, second we dont get like any rx's up here, and if we did its usually like across the street and driving off before you can actually hear anything, third even if it did sound bad wut the hell would that matter? its fast.

so just answer the question does it sound any different from a normal car.

Re: question about the rotary engine

well it really depends on the exhaust... it doesn't have that ricey fart sound but it is a little higher pitched than most engine. but with a mazdatrix or racing beat exhaust you get a pretty deep sound, and on the TII I'm buying it has a greddy/trust dual exhaust(which is discontinued) and from what I hear, it sounds the best.

anyways, the sound of the car isn't that highly important as long as its not farting down the street, and its all opinion. so just cuz your friend says it sucks doesn't mean it does, he just thinks it does and most people don't like to change their minds so just make your car faster than his and not worry about it

Re: question about the rotary engine

rotarys sound different, run differently, make different power in different powerband than other different cars.
u like it or not, let your friend die in his ignorance. you dont have to fight for opinions.
fight for facts !
