Extending Fuel Filler Neck

I am constructing a new steel body for my 1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer, basically the body is being extended by 10" on each side (maybe a bit less in some spots.)

The body is a cross between two vehicles, an M998 (Military Hummvee) and the RST-V (Marine Prototype of a new breed of M998s.)

The problem im having is how to extend the filler neck so that it will be extend towards the body by 8" or so. Since the body will make filling the tank impossible due to the styling. So where can I find a gas filler neck extension? Or has anyone done such a thing?

If this can't be done, i'll have to have the body redesigned (which i dont want to do, but will if needed)

I had to extend the filler neck on my 78 and I just bought a longer peice of rubber hose to fit where the old hose came from the top of the tank and attached to the filler neck. As long as it is fuel line it doesn't matter whether it's metal or rubber.
