bulbs for dimmer and window switch

Anyone had to replace these? Mine both burnt out toaday and I am looking to replace them. Would I be better off going with LEDs or replace with the stock "christmas lights"?

Without ever looking at these bulbs before, I would say that if you can go with an LED light...why not?

Re: bulbs for dimmer and window switch

the bulbs are smaller than a penlight bulb. about the same size as one of those little keychain flashlight bulbs. I got a LED and I'm going yo try to solder it in this weekend. wish me luck, if it works, I'll do the other one the same way.

Let me know how it turns out.
If it works for you I might do the same

Re: bulbs for dimmer and window switch

was kinda a job to get the LED's in, but they are bright!!! can barely see them in full daylight, and they are almost distracting after dark. got them to fit in the existing holes, and got it all soldered in about an hour, in cluding trying to figure out how it was going to be done.
