Earliest B16B

What was the first or earliest year that the JdM Civic Type R came out in Japan...
Im wondering because im seriously thinking of selling my car...for one its already been in an accident (minor) and two I cant drive it like that anymore until I get my licence because I got pulled over from the police last night (prom night) and they wrote up my name and everything so Im not going to take much more risks by driving the car when my birthdays only like 2 months away...
So to keep me from driving the car im going to try to sell it and order hopefully a Type R from Japan to go back out on the track with when I get my licence...

Re: Earliest B16B

Your post makes no sense.. To keep you out of trouble you're going to sell your car and buy a faster one?

CTR's first debuted in 1998.

Re: Earliest B16B

i think what he's saying is he's going to sell his car, so he doesn't have one to drive so he can't get himself in trouble... after his birthday in 2 months, he will be able to have his lisence, therefore making it legal for him to drive? or something... then he will buy a CTR.... i think

You got it...see if i sell the car now I can order the Type R and it would leave Japan on the 10th of July and be here by August 20th therefore keeping me out of trouble until then...
If I can't sell it until after the 10th of July it would have to come on the 10th of August from Japan and get here after my birthday in September even giving me a bit of time to try and get my licence...
