body kit opinion

ive been workin on my custom body kit and have hit a cross road...im not sure which one looks better? Grant it its still rough, but i havent got my liquid foam in yet.

So, my question is this...which one do you think will wind up looking better?

Re: body kit opinion

what exactly are you trying to do? like how are you planning on making this a body kit? if you want to build a kit, your best bet would be to just glass it onto your existing bumper. making your own mold or whatever you're trying to do is going to be hard and you'll have major issues once you try to bolt it up. Thats just my 2 cents. We've always done it using the stock bumper and fused an existing kit up to it or added on with glass and sanded to the desired design. it'll take half the time that building a custom one would and you won't have any fitment issues because it's your stock bumper!! either way I wish you luck. I personally can't really tell what you're asking by the pics. sorry.

no, its foam

after ive made up my mind on which kit is better looking, and finished the foam, i will then lay a sheet of film over the whole bumper and tape it. spray the release agent, lay down 3 sheets of glass, remove it and thats the mold. For the finished product i will again spray release agent inside the mold lay 8 layers of glass let completely cure. then i will cut the existing mounting brackets from the old bumper, rivet it to the new kit, bondo over it, smooth with sandpaper....and waalaa, sounds difficult but ive already done it twice. I just wanted to know which one of the designs will probably look better on my laser.

EDIT: Doing it this way only costs about $120 for the whole thing(front bumper, rear, skirts) And the forst time i made one it was pretty hard. now its easy. And they only took me about a month to make it.

sorta, its the cheap stuff from Ace True Value. You can buy it in the stores in little 16 oz cans...but since i bought a canister that uses an air tank for pressure, i buy the 5 gallon buckets.
