Re: ever heard of this car??????????

try running the vin number. if you go to a search web site and type in vin number you should be able to finda site you can type in or it will give you a break down of the number you have. if you cant find it on one of thouse sites go to allpar.com if it is a true mopar it will be on that site.

Re: ever heard of this car??????????

That probably won't work because that decoder will probably only go back as far as 1966. 1965 and prior had different VIN breakdowns.

That site you mentioned is the one I use too, but that's for 1966+ 13-character VIN's, it won't work 1965 and earlier...

I really don't think this car exists. How are you sure it's Cornet and not Coronet?

Re: ever heard of this car??????????

I have another Question. In 70, a coronet had a R/T package, but I've heard some people call it a R/T. And I've seen one in a shop once, and noticed no signs where the word Coronet would be. So is the car called a Coronet R/T or a R/T, or are they 2 different cars. Any one with a Coronet, please Answer.

Re: ever heard of this car??????????

And by the way the Coronet and Superbee are twin cars in 68-70 , and the Coronet is older than the Charger, where do you think the Charger got it's body frame from. The Coronet. And the car is not One of a kind, and I'd say it's not worth much. Mainly because It was the non-favorate of the 3 cars. So just keep it and have fun. And one more thing. It's a 68 car and It really has a 318, wow. All B-Bodies have big blocks. Except after 71.

The Coronet lineup had a bunch of models: the Custom, 440, 500, Superbee, and the R/T. The lower ones were available as 4-door or wagon as well. All are Dodge Coronets, even if they don't say it on the car.

False. You could get say, a 1969 Coronet with a 318, or a 1969 Satellite with a 318 as well, as examples. Both cars are B-Bodies.
