DOHC ZC help anyone
![]() This was what I had left of the that cam angle sensor. Its on the exhuast side. Right above that green connecter is the sensor, it had only stubbs, i mean like stubbs left of wires sticking out it. The wires are the same as the ones in the sensor, so I'm guessing I connect those and then the other two wires that are leaving the other part of the green connecting connect to my distributor plug. Correct? ![]() Here is that part where the Fast Idle Valve has no where to go. I'm assuming this is where my brake booster line will go. But what do I do about this FIV? Cause it has a sensor plugged to it. I am using the PG7 ECU by the way. ![]() Heres yeh old engine being lifted to its grave. ![]() And heres my used ZC from Rising Sun Engines. Also, I couldnt get a good pic of this, but I think its some type of Oil Pressure or Oil sensor, its right by the oil filter and is a yellow and black wires, 2 wires. Does it matter which way this gets plugged in? |

Re: DOHC ZC help anyone
that sensor on the back is the fan switch. doesnt matter how its hooked up as long as both wires are hooked up. as for the other stuff, i dont really understand your questions..

Re: DOHC ZC help anyone
On the back of the ZC intake manifold, the little tube coming out with the red cap on it. On my Si manifold there was a idle thingy there or some sort of sensor that used a vaccum line. And then where the brake booster line should go on the manifold, there isnt any port for it on the zc manifold.

Re: DOHC ZC help anyone
not all d16a6's have FIV, so you should be alright hooking the brake booster up to that line.
