Fan speed control

My 2000 Venture has a problem with the fan control. 1 2 3 fan speed do not work 4 & 5 are ok any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'm glad you were able to install the radio...
I had the same problem with the fan control, the problem is the blower motor resistor, you need to change it, I chose to take it to the dealer because the price for the part was 25 and the labor was just 48 dollars, not bad, I was not sure how to disable the air bag. There are many posts about this problem here or in the Pontiac Montana or Oldsmobile Sillouette forums, check these forums if you don't find it here. The vans are exactly the same.

Okay, I have a similiar problem with my Venture - where is the blower motor resistor located at, and how do you get to it?
