old cars
do old cars have higher or lower insurance rates than new cars?
lower insurance rates seem more logic for older cars, but more things can go wrong with them also so im not sure.

Re: old cars
It all depends on where you live I guess.. Here, insurance rates are based on a a few different factors.. Antique tags cost quite a bit less though..

Old cars have a significantly lower insurance cost. When I bought my 71 nova from my parents in around 98 they were paying27 dollars a month for full coverage on the car. Now provided they are old and married and have good driving records, of course its gonna be low, but I pay around 125 a month on it with full coverage and im 23 with a perfect driving record.. this is just an example and im sure there are exceptions, but generally from what I have found insurance tends to be cheaper on old cars unless it is some super rare vehicle.
