UT Models McLaren F1 Touch-up (Pics)
Hey everyone at AutomotiveForums. This is my first post and found a lot of good stuff here already. I recently got a 1/18 scale UT Models McLaren F1 roadcar and although I love the shape of the McLaren, there were a few things that bothered me. For starters, the ride height, in fixing this, I was able to add a slight camber angle on all the tires. The brakes now have golden calipers, the insides of the exhaust tips are painted black to make them look more like holes, and I added screens to the air ducts in front of the car and in the back of it as well. Well...enjoy.

Welcome aboard! That things looks awesome. The lowered stance gives it almost a completely new look.

Beautiful job u've done!
it takes a whole lot of guts to mod/touchup a UT Mac for the simple fact that they are so expensive!! |

Hey man, thanks. I definitely was playing with fire working on something that costs me so much, but I just couldn't help myself. Great thing I didn't get burned!

Looks good but for a low car to begin with it's a little too low for me.

Yeah, it's actually very low. The way it looked when i first got it actually had the back jacked up higher than the front. Thanks for the complements. I appreciate them.
