Pleeze

Aright... I got a brand new '03 Civic 4 door. I've been testin out how fast it can go against my friend's classics. This car can't really compete, yet. I was wondering if you guys could kinda point me in the right direction towards gettin this car hopped up on the speed end of things. I've been looking at a lot of the upgrades on some web sites but i dont know where to start or what would do what i want without wasting money. Gimme some ideas if ya can, but i am on a budget so nothin crazy.

thanks

Cold air intake, header and light weight Flywheel would be a good place to start. The first 2 are ez to install and the clutch and flywheel with the right tools can be done in an afternoon.

Good Luck

Re: Pleeze

wow. you guys are helpful.

well man. you have a four door civic. so you really dont have much going for you. the only way you're gonna get real power is with plenty of money. you can always take out the interior (do you really need those back seats?) and get some carbon fiber parts (hood/fenders/trunk lid) to reduce the weight. an engine swap would be ideal but expensive. you could always get a JR supercharger or a turbo kit but those can be very expensive. if you want you could always do a junkyard turbo and scrap around for parts until you can build one.

OK NO do this after you drop a new engine in or get a turbo
no need for a clutch and wheel, your not gonna get anything out of intake and headers either so save ur loot and drop a k20 or turbo it
those are ur choices if you want a fast car

damn AF is getting vicious

not everyone has the cash and resources to do an engine swap. just tell the guy some bolt ons he could do to at least make the car somewhat enjoyable. god.
