I HATE Granatelli!!!!!

So today I got my ram air kit from sun coast creations today. Since no one makes ram air kit for a Harwood style ram air I had to get the z-style ram air kit. it took quite a bit of customizing but now the set-up is totally sweet! anyway, i also put in a granatelli MAF sensor for a cold air intake. (i did multiple runs, so no one think this is a flook) with the granatelli my car was a whole second slower on the 1/4 mile! the problem was the shift from 1st to 2nd was slower and then when it did shift it dropped it to 3000 instead of the regular 4000 it did before. I ran it with the stock intake and the new ram-air and the results where the same. it claims to have up to 22 rear wheel hp, but I have come to the conclusion that is only at really high rpm, but as far as 1/4 miles go... IT BLOWS! oh yeah, and it fucked up my idle too.

Re: I HATE Granatelli!!!!!

common knowlege man. The stock MAF is capable of supporting plenty more HP than even most built LT1's make. You need tuning to make the larger MAF worth anything.
